July 27th: The best premium Jeans in America arrive.
I assume this is referring to the relaunch of the GAP's 1969 line. Looking forward to see what they have to offer, for the un-premium price of $69.
I emailed the Gap customer service, but they would neither confirm nor deny any new product launches. Oh well, let the countdown begin. 13 days to go...

It's going to be interesting to see how this line performs. GAP's consumer base couldn't care less about denim fabric--all they want are good, affordable jeans.
So in light of this, I wonder specifically how the so-called "denim purists" are going to react to the 1969 line.
From what I've seen of the jeans (here and elsewhere), the product looks great. And you can't beat the price! I definitely plan on visiting my local GAP retailer when the time comes.
